Cardi B Discusses Tour Success and Reducing Twitter Arguments on 'The Tonight Show'

During her recent appearance on The Tonight Show, Cardi B opened up about the phenomenal success of her Little Miss Drama tour, including a sold-out show at the iconic Madison Square Garden, while also addressing her conscious decision to reduce her involvement in social media conflicts.

"It is really exciting," the Grammy-winning artist shared with host Jimmy Fallon regarding her tour's success. However, she candidly revealed the overwhelming demand for tickets from her extensive network. "Today I have been very annoyed because everybody wants tickets—40 people from my mom's side, 30 people from my dad's side, all my friends, friends from high school, friends from the projects, friend from the Bronx, friends from Brooklyn. I'm so overwhelmed."

The rapper launched her tour in February, with performances scheduled through mid-April. When discussing what audiences can expect from her shows, Cardi B emphasized the entertainment value and party atmosphere she brings to each performance. "I make sure that it's like a party," she explained. "If I could give free liquor out I would. But I have to make some of the money back."

One of the tour's most striking elements involves Cardi B flying over the crowd during performances, despite her personal fear of heights. She described her willingness to push through this phobia "for the plot," stating, "You just have to do it. You just gotta always be over the top, even if that means risking your own life."

Strategic Approach to Social Media Engagement

The conversation also touched on Cardi B's evolving relationship with social media platforms, particularly her decision to limit her participation in online arguments. "I reduced the time," she revealed to Fallon. "Before I would argue for like 13 hours."

Career Milestones and Recent Projects

Cardi B's current tour supports her latest album, Am I the Drama?, which was released in September. The project featured collaborations with several high-profile artists including Janet Jackson, Selena Gomez, Summer Walker, Lizzo, Kehlani, Megan Thee Stallion, Cash Cobain, and Tyla. The Little Miss Drama tour represents her inaugural headlining tour.

Following the album's release, Cardi B has remained in the public eye through various controversies, including a widely publicized online dispute with fellow rapper Nicki Minaj, which drew commentary from political figures including J.D. Vance, and her public criticism of Donald Trump's Department of Homeland Security policies.
