Singer, rapper, and actor Bad Bunny is set to make an appearance in the upcoming Toy Story film, lending his voice to a character known as Pizza With Sunglasses, a neglected toy.

According to Disney, the Puerto Rican artist will portray this "effortlessly cool and mysterious" character, who is part of a small but resilient community of forgotten toys residing in an abandoned backyard shed.

Additionally, Scottish actor Alan Cumming will join the cast, voicing an evil version of Bullseye, Woody's loyal steed.

Cumming and Bad Bunny—whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio—are stepping into a cast that features renowned figures such as Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack, who are all reprising their roles.

Toy Story 5 is scheduled for release on June 19, with the final trailer having been unveiled recently.

The Toy Story franchise, which debuted in 1995, is centered around a universe where toys come alive in the absence of humans. The plot of the fifth installment sees these beloved characters, led by Buzz Lightyear and a now bald Woody, uniting in an effort to protect their owner Bonnie from a contemporary threat—her smart tablet Lilypad, voiced by Greta Lee.

Bad Bunny's involvement in this project marks a notable year for the artist, who is often referred to as the King of Latin Trap.

He made headlines by headlining the Super Bowl half-time show in 2026 and achieved a historic milestone with his album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos (I Should've Taken More Photos), which became the first predominantly Spanish-language LP to win the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. This accomplishment also contributed to his rise as Spotify's most streamed artist globally.

In addition to his music career, Bad Bunny has ventured into film. He portrayed the cold-blooded gangster Colorado in the crime thriller Caught Stealing last year, featuring alongside Austin Butler, Regina King, and Zoë Kravitz. He also appeared as Oscar, Happy Gilmour's quirky golf caddie, in the comedy sequel starring Adam Sandler.

Previously, he played the role of Wolf in the 2022 action-comedy Bullet Train, directed by David Leitch and featuring Brad Pitt.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Bad Bunny would take on his first lead role in a film set in Puerto Rico, acting alongside Javier Bardem and Edward Norton. This project is described as a love letter to his native Puerto Rico and draws inspiration from the life of José Maldonado Román, a revolutionary figure from the late 19th and early 20th centuries known as White Eagle.

In addition to his creative endeavors, Bad Bunny is reportedly contemplating a return to the WWE wrestling scene.
