Phoebe Bridgers Joins Robert Pattinson's Surveillance Team in 'Primetime' Trailer

Phoebe Bridgers is featured in the teaser for A24's Primetime, marking her acting debut as part of a team focused on apprehending predators. The film stars Robert Pattinson in the role of Chris Hansen, the host of To Catch a Predator. Bridgers is joined by a talented cast that includes Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, Matthew Maher, Anna Farris, and Bokeem Woodbine.

The teaser presents a brief glimpse of the film, lasting just one minute. Within this timeframe, Pattinson delivers an engaging introduction, capturing the essence of Hansen's style. "You see how this looks, right? At the end of the day, man must be held accountable for the decisions that he makes. Do you agree? Do you watch television? Well, there's something you should know," he states. He continues, "I'm Chris Hansen. This is To Catch a Predator of Dateline NBC and you're about to be a part of television history. We're going to be the number one show on TV."

Bridgers assumes the role of a character within the team tasked with capturing compelling footage of individuals caught in compromising situations. Directed by Lance Oppenheim, Primetime features a screenplay written by Ajon Singh. Pattinson also serves as a producer on the film, alongside notable names such as Ari Aster, Lars Knudsen, Brighton McCloskey, Tyler Campellone, Fred Berger, and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones.

As of now, Primetime does not have an announced release date. The film follows a series of recent A24 projects, including Mother Mary, If I Had Legs I'd Kick You, Eternity, and The Drama, which stars Alana Haim, along with Marty Supreme, which highlights Tyler, the Creator's foray into film.
