The Insider's Guide to Three Perfect Days in Rome

Explore the Eternal City with this curated guide highlighting the best spots and experiences for a memorable three-day trip.

#Rome#Italy#Travel Guide#Sightseeing#Culinary Experiences

Having spent part of my upbringing in Rome, courtesy of my Roman mother, I have developed a profound connection with the Eternal City, which has significantly influenced my perspective and experiences. I appreciate its proximity to the sea, the gentle morning vento ponentino (westerly breeze), the warm pastel hues of its architecture, as well as Rome’s grandeur—both in reputation and scale—and the spontaneous rhythm of daily life.

Among my cherished experiences in Rome are the simplest delights: a plate of broccolo romano ripassato, a piece of pizza al taglio savored while strolling through the city, and a leisurely pranzo al mare (seaside lunch) in Fregene or Santa Marinella. Below, you will find an itinerary integrating my favorite moments into a cohesive three-day exploration.
