U.S. President Donald Trump has urged Iranian officials to "get serious soon" regarding negotiations for a peace agreement with the United States, warning of potential repercussions if progress is not made.
"They better get serious soon, before it is too late, because once that happens, there is NO TURNING BACK, and it won’t be pretty!," he expressed in a post on Truth Social early Thursday morning.
The president characterized Iranian negotiators as “very different” and “strange,” suggesting that they were “begging” the U.S. to reach an agreement.
