The North American segment of Lily Allen’s West End Girl tour is set to commence next month, initially featuring performances in smaller venues. In an exciting development, the artist has announced an expansion of the tour to include larger arenas, notably New York’s Madison Square Garden, the United Center in Chicago, and the Chase Center in San Francisco.
The initial North American shows, which were revealed in December, are scheduled to begin in April and will continue until the end of the month. During these performances, Allen plans to showcase her latest album in its entirety. Following this leg of the tour, she will travel to the U.K. and Europe during the summer months, with two performances at the O2 Arena in London and a festival participation at the Gurtenfestival in Bern, Switzerland. After concluding her European engagements, Allen is set to return to North America in September for the anticipated arena shows, kicking off in New York and concluding in Los Angeles.
In addition to her concert activities, Allen recently made an appearance at the National Portrait Gallery in London, where the album art for West End Girl was unveiled as part of the museum's collection. The piece, crafted by Nieves González, is owned by Allen, who has graciously loaned it to the gallery. Allen has also shared her aspirations to adapt West End Girl into a theatrical production in London’s West End.
