Niall Horan made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to delve into his upcoming album, Dinner Party. The former One Direction member shared insights about a song inspired by his encounter with his girlfriend at an actual dinner party, along with his plans for an upcoming tour, including whether he will be performing in the U.S.

Horan has already announced tour dates for Ireland, Europe, and the U.K., set to commence in September. “We’re still to announce more dates,” Horan noted, adding, “But you know what usually comes next.”

When asked by Jimmy Kimmel if North America was on the horizon, Horan responded, “It’s not announced, but yeah.”

Dinner Party, Horan's first album in three years, is slated for release on June 5. He has released a single titled “Dinner Party,” which features an intimate, acoustic melody that narrates the experience of connecting with someone special during a gathering. Horan recounted being a single bachelor residing in London at the time, describing the event as “more of a drinks party.”

During the show, Kimmel also brought back the infamous 1D Potato, a humorous gift he bestowed upon One Direction in 2015 during their own appearance on Kimmel. “We were talking about that world you were in where anything you guys posted became this huge, huge, huge thing,” Kimmel reminisced. He expressed hope that the band would share the potato, which they did, leading it to develop its own Instagram following. Kimmel then inquired, “Where is the potato now?”

“It started to sprout and we thought that was the end of its life,” Horan replied. “I haven’t seen it since.”

Additionally, Niall Horan participated in a fun segment with a fan to test who knows him better. The fan emerged victorious.
