Alix Earle has officially launched her skincare brand, Reale Actives, a line thoughtfully created for individuals with acne-prone skin. This venture has been two years in the making, developed through a partnership with Imaginary Ventures.

As a prominent figure in the influencer space, Earle commands an impressive social media following of 14 million across TikTok and Instagram, establishing her as a leading influencer globally. Her career highlights include participating in four Super Bowl advertisements and holding an equity stake in the soda brand Poppi, which recently had a remarkable sale to PepsiCo for $1.95 billion. In addition to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Earle imparts her knowledge to students at Harvard Business School.

In an interview with Fortune prior to her brand launch, Earle discussed her personal battle with acne, which has been a challenge she faced since middle school. After experimenting with various treatments and lifestyle changes, she began sharing her experiences online during a particularly challenging period in her life, paving the way for her influencer career.

Through her journey, Earle identified a desire to introduce a skincare product that resonates with those who feel overwhelmed by the vast array of options in the skincare market. Her vision was to create a brand that is not only effective in combating acne but also enjoyable to use, breaking free from the often serious and daunting associations tied to skincare routines.

In the process of developing Reale Actives, Earle recognized a significant gap in the market for enjoyable and effective products tailored for acne-prone skin, inspired by her personal experiences and insights gained through collaborations with various skincare brands.

Earle emphasizes the importance of understanding her audience, particularly the preferences and aspirations of Generation Z, which she believes will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of her brand and its engagement with consumers.

While she looks forward to the potential of Reale Actives, Earle is also open to maintaining her collaborations with other brands, although her primary focus will be on the growth and success of her own line.
